My Companion Died Today

My companion died today.

My life is now in ruins.

My most trustworthy companion is no longer...

Every morning I got up you were there.

All day long I spent with you.

And at night I went to bed with you.

I shared my inner most secrets.

No one else will remember those moments except you.

You helped me get through the day, through tough times.

You added a sense of security to my life.

Maybe it was a false sense, but I relied on you anyways.

You were so full of knowledge, I was always impressed.

Then you got really sick.

Many got sick and were destroyed by this strange virus.

I tried everything to get you help, but in the end.......I had to let you go.

The warped thing is I never wanted you at first.

In fact I hated you.

I didn’t want you in my house!

But you did something to me....

You made me love you!

Maybe I still harbour some of those feelings of hate, because now...........

I have to get another damn computer!!!!
